Points for attention in cutting off galvanized steel pipes

　　Welded galvanized steel pipes with large diameter or thicker thickness are usually directly made of billet, while thin-walled welded pipes with small welded pipes only need to be directly welded through steel strips. Then after a simple polishing, the wire drawing can be done. Therefore, most of the smaller diameter welded pipes are welded by straight seam welding, while the larger diameter welded pipes are mostly welded by spiral welding. It has good mechanical properties, weldability, cold, hot working and corrosion resistance, and good low temperature toughness.

　　Key points for cutting off API 5L Gr.B Galvanized Steel Pipe:

　　(1) To cut off the place, please wipe the oil, debris or soil on the surface of galvanized steel pipe completely with a cloth or soft cloth.

　　(2) It is necessary to select special stainless steel cut-off.

　　(3) The location of the cut-off should be coordinated with the construction drawings and site conditions, and the cut-off line should be marked by meter ruler or other measuring tools.

　　(4) When cutting off, please fix the galvanized steel pipe with vises and other fixtures, and then cut after fixing.

　　(5) The cut-off surface of galvanized steel pipe should be kept round, and the cut-off line should be at right angle to the axis of galvanized steel pipe.
