How to Produce Boiler Pipe
Boiler pipe is a kind of seamless pipe. The manufacturing method is the same as seamless boiler pipe, but there are strict requirements for steel grades used in manufacturing boiler pipe. According to the use temperature, it can be divided into general boiler tube and high pressure boiler pipe.
The mechanical properties of boiler pipes are an important index to ensure the ultimate service performance of steel, which depends on the chemical composition of steel and heat treatment system. In the High Pressure Seamless Steel Boiler Pipe standard, according to different application requirements, the tensile properties (tensile strength, yield strength or yield point, elongation), hardness and toughness indexes, as well as the high and low temperature properties required by users are specified.
1. Generally, the temperature of boiler pipe is below 350 C. Domestic pipes are mainly made of hot-rolled or cold-drawn carbon-bonded steel tubes No. 10 and No. 20.
2. High pressure boiler pipes are often in high temperature and high pressure conditions when they are used. Under the action of high temperature flue gas and water vapor, the boiler pipe will be oxidized and corroded. Boiler pipes are required to have high durable strength, high anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance, and good structural stability.
